BTX JAW
SLIMMING
Non-Surgical face contouring for a sharper, slimmer, more youthful facial appearance.
A widely practiced technique for jaw slimming is BTX for masseter muscle reduction, also known as the "V line" procedure.
BTX jaw reduction is a non-surgical and non-invasive technique that uses BTX injections to reduce a square jawline to a more symmetrical, smoother, and oval-shaped face. The muscles in your jaws that cause hard jawlines can be effectively softened with this treatment, helping you to achieve a shrarper, slimmer, more youthful facial appearance.
Jaw muscles are extremely powerful. Particularly in individuals who grit or clench their teeth. These muscles can bulk up overtime, resulting in squaring of the lower face. With BTX, the jawline softens into a slimmer, more oval shape as muscles are weakened.
Jaw BTX is typically very tolerable. Anaesthetic can be applied if necessary.
It takes two to three weeks to see the full effect.
BTX typically lasts for about 3-6 months depending on how fast your body metabolizes the BTX. Patients can choose to repeat the treatment every six months to maintain the effect.
BTX Jaw is a minimally invasive procedure with minimal downtime. There will be small needle marks after the procedure that is barely noticeable, as well as a small risk of bruising but most people can return to their daily lives or work without any issue. Some individuals may experience soreness in the jaw muscles or a sensation of weakness in chewing during meals but this is temporary and usually goes away after 1-2 weeks.
Botox can be safely used to slim down a wide face. Although temporary difficulty in chewing may sometimes occur, side effects are rare. In addition, there is no downtime, and normal daily activities can be resumed immediately.
